Description

3½” hand carved shrinkpot. Birch and apple with tung oil finish.

This little shrinkpot is carved from birch that is still green. The base is seasoned alder and the lid is apple. The base is carved to a tight fit then left for a few days to allow the body of the pot to dry and shrink and grip the base. The lid is then carved to fit.

Material: Birch wood and apple wood.

Finish:Tung oil.
